shanghai has two major airports: pudong international airport (pvg) and hongqiao international airport (sha).

most long-haul international flights arrive at pvg, while sha primarily serves domestic and regional routes. both are accessible by public transportation, taxis and ride-hailing services. we recommend choosing whichever flight offers the best combination of convenience, timing and price.
