  • we kindly ask all guests to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony start. arrivals past 2:45pm will be asked to wait until the ceremony is over to enter.

  • please take your seats as the groom, wedding party, and finally the bride make their way down the aisle. the ceremony will include words from our officiant, an exchange of vows and “i do’s,” followed by the newlyweds’ first walk back up the aisle together. the ceremony will be conducted in english.

  • make your way upstairs to the ballroom for our evening reception. the bride and groom will make their entrance at 6:15pm, followed by dinner, speeches, games, photos and celebrations throughout the evening.

  • we’ll move to a new setting for the cake cutting, where the bride and groom will cut the wedding cake and pop the champagne before the night continues.

before you arrive | 抵达前须知

please arrive at moller villa by 2:15pm local time. we kindly ask all guests to arrive no later than 45 minutes before the ceremony to allow plenty of time for check-in, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony begins.

upon arrival, please proceed to the lobby of the main villa, where our wedding team will check you in and direct you to the ceremony.

the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. once the ceremony has begun, there will be no entries/exits.

our ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn of moller villa, rain or shine, and will begin at 3:00pm. accompanied by a live orchestra, the groom will make his entrance, followed by our wedding party and, finally, the bride.

the ceremony will include words from our officiant, the exchange of vows and rings, our “i do’s,” before we make our first walk back down the aisle together as husband and wife.

the ceremony will be conducted in english.

during the ceremony, we invite you to be fully present with us during this moment. all phones must be kept on silent, and ipads + tablets should remain put away and out of sight.

photos and videos from your seat are welcome, but please do not stand or step into the aisle at any time. we have a wonderful photography + videography team capturing the ceremony, and ask that their view, and yours, and ours, remain unobstructed.

once the ceremony begins, there will be no entry or exit until it has concluded.

following the ceremony, it is time for champagne! join us for music, cocktails, champagne, light bites and refreshments as we settle into the celebration.

the bride and groom will be taking photos with guests throughout cocktail hour, but there is no need to wait around - grab a drink, have a bite, mingle, and enjoy the afternoon. the wedding team will make their way to you when it is time for photos.

guest books will be available throughout cocktail hour, so please take a moment to leave us a note, a memory, or a little piece of advice for married life.

and ladies, stay close, the bride will be tossing her bouquet before we make our way upstairs for dinner.

cocktail hour will take place primarily outdoors, but if the weather gets a little too cold, indoor space will also be available on the first floor of the main villa for guests to warm up and relax.

婚礼仪式结束后，是时候开香槟庆祝了！ 欢迎大家伴着音乐，享用鸡尾酒、香槟、精致小食及各式饮品，一同开启接下来的庆祝时光。

鸡尾酒会期间，新郎新娘将陆续与宾客合影，但大家无需在原地等候——请尽情喝一杯、吃点小食，与亲友聊天交流，享受悠闲的下午时光。 到需要合影时，我们的婚礼工作人员会前来邀请您。

现场将准备宾客留言簿，欢迎大家抽空为我们留下几句话、一段共同的回忆，或是一点关于婚姻生活的小建议。

还有各位女士，请不要走远——在我们移步楼上享用晚宴之前，新娘将进行捧花抛掷仪式。

鸡尾酒会将主要在户外举行。如果天气较冷，主楼一楼也将开放室内空间，供宾客取暖、休息及放松。

dinner & reception 婚宴 | 6:00pm - 9:00pm

as cocktail hour comes to a close, feel free to make your way upstairs to the ballroom where the reception will take place. there will be a seating chart in the hallway - please find your seat anytime before 6:00pm.

the reception will officially begin with a grand entrance from our wedding party, followed by the entrance of the newly weds - and a quick moment on the dance floor before dinner begins.

a 10-course set menu will be served throughout the evening, but dinner is not meant to keep you in your seat! between courses, feel free to explore, visit the photo booth, take pictures, grab a drink, and enjoy the celebration.

throughout dinner, expect speeches from our family, wedding party and friends, a few games, and plenty of little moments in-between. the bride and groom will also be making their way around the ballroom and two dining rooms throughout the evening to spend some time with each table.

随着鸡尾酒会接近尾声，欢迎大家移步楼上的宴会厅，根据走廊内的座位表找到您的席位，并于下午 6:00 前入座。

cake, champagne & dance 切蛋糕，香槟仪式 & afterparty | 9:00pm onwards

after dinner, we will make our way outside the main ballroom for the cutting of the wedding cake and for the champagne tower. join us as the newlyweds cut the cake, pop the champagne, and raise a glass together before we head back to the ballroom.

from there, we will begin with the bride and groom’s first dance, followed by dances with our parents. then, the formalities are officially over and the after party begins! the bride and groom make one promise for the night - they will not stop until they black out.

晚宴结束后，我们将移步至主宴会厅外，进行婚礼蛋糕切分仪式及香槟塔仪式。欢迎大家一同见证新郎新娘切下婚礼蛋糕、开启香槟并共同举杯庆祝，随后我们将回到宴会厅。

the formalities are over. now, we celebrate! gentlemen, feel free to loose the tie. ladies, let your hair down and change into something shorter and ready for the dance floor, if you wish. we know the bride will slip into something more… revealing.

stay a little longer

the entire villa has been reserved exclusively for our wedding party for the weekend. while the suites are spoken for, if the celebrations carry on late into the night, you are welcome to find a comfortable spot somewhere in the villa (first floor excluded) and stay until morning - if you don’t mind a slightly unconventional sleepover.

if you would rather head back to your hotel, transportation in shanghai is easy, safe, and inexpensive to arrange. if you need a little help getting home at the end of the night, find someone from the wedding party - we will make sure you get where you need to go.
